The Bali Fight Club™ tournament is conducted according to the BFC™ Unified Rules
System, which allows for all martial art styles to compete together on a fair and impartial
playing field. It integrates the most practical rules from a broad cross-section of fighting arts
while discarding impractical or arbitrary conventions that might unfairly favor certain styles.
Thus, participants are allowed to employ virtually all manner of strikes, kicks, throws,
submission techniques or any combination thereof to win the match.
In addition to ensuring fairness for contestants of all styles, the unified rules system protects
fighters from attacks judged to be excessively damaging or unsporting, such as blows to the
eyes, throat or groin. Beyond these basic restrictions, however, there are few guidelines.
The sole criterion for victory is superiority in the ring: skill, athleticism, and whatever elements
of strategy fighters can exploit to vanquish their opponents!
